PRODUCTION 

     Cooperativa Țara Mea owns the dairy factory in the town of Berca, Buzău county. The factory has been completely modernized this year and will operate to the highest   international standards, being newly IFS certified.
     A great advantage of the Cooperative is that it managed to integrate the farm-milk collection-production chain,  and most of the farmers are also members of Țara Mea, thus obtaining additional control over animal nutrition and, finally, on the quality and cost of milk.

      Cooperativa Mea owns the largest fish farm and processing plant in Romania, located in Giarmata, Timiș County. With a production capacity of over 25 tons/week, the factory operates in an integrated manner. Thus, it includes an integrated production chain – from the hatchery and rearing farm to the processing, packaging and delivery of fish and fish products to retail.

      Also here, Țara Mea grows and processes sturgeons, from which they extract Romanian caviar and deliver it to large retail chains.

       The factory includes all the compartments necessary for the production flow. They are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, having European-standard production halls, warehouses with cold and air-conditioning rooms, a sanitary laboratory, a warehouse for spices, a sales hall compliant with the standards in force. The value of the last investment amounts to over 7 million euros.

        As an additional condition imposed by EU rules, the unit has implemented, maintained and improved an integrated management system of quality - hygiene and food safety according to IFS FOOD VERS 7:2020.
